@ZeroDu java web 可能还好，android 开发不容乐观，我这里 ~/.gradle 8.6G ，还没多少个项目，而且很多时候初始化项目前我刻意改过 gradle-wrapper.properties ，不然基本上每个项目都用不同版本的 gradle ，每个几百 MB ，多跑几个 demo 又用掉几个 G

@yyfearth 但这里的 rust 编译产物并不是 nodejs 那种零碎的小文件，在我这里，透明压缩效果非常显著，du 109G 但 df 只有 53G ，不过我这里不做 rust 开发而是做 web 和 android 。

solarized light 用的人比较多，一般 terminal 都内置有，就算没有也很容易找到现成的配置。

按照 op 的要求我会推荐 openbox 。但我还是想说，gnome 才是最省心的。“大家懂的都懂”我是真的不懂 gnome 有什么问题。我从大学开始用 ubuntu ，后来用过不少发行版，各大桌面环境也都用过，期间 windows 、macos 我也都在用，但 linux 仍然是我使用时间最长的，到现在已经十年了。最近两年我已经稳定在用 archlinux + gnome ，然后最近在用 chromeos 。
我也不知道为什么 op 会在意桌面环境的 gpu 消耗，动画就是用来提升交互体验的，根本不会占用多少 gpu 。而一个完整的桌面环境消耗的内存也就 400M 左右，对于 8G 以上内存来说，真要不够用了那也不是扣掉这点内存就够用的。

我两个笔记本，2015 macbook pro 和 magicbook 2018 除去屏幕整机待机功耗大概 5-7w ，我会觉得 x86 的待机功耗其实不是很高，我的 m1 mac mini 待机功耗就 4w 了，更旧的设备，因为工艺问题功耗是更高的。
另外，好点的路由器待机功耗都 5w 起，10w+ 都有。
