GPLv2 允许被授权者 “ redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.”

为了应对新的情况，fsf 会更新 gpl，但是 fsf 的宗旨是不会变的。。也就是说，gpl 的后续版本只能由 fsf 定义，fsf 不会随便定义 gpl

一个是 GPLv2 (比如 Linux)，还有一个是 GPLv2+ （ FSF 推荐的标准用法，很多软件说自己是 GPLv2, 其实是 GPLv2+）。
