用浏览器编辑服务器上的某些文本/配置文件，最轻量级的方案是什么？

服务器跑的Linux，目前想到的是lighttpd+php，但是光php就5M多了；WallProxy那个Web读写配置文件的不知道是什么原理？无需代码高亮等高级功能，只要能读文件内容到文本框，修改后能直接保存到服务器就OK。
