关于 CC 协议中的 Noncommercial 的疑问

Noncommercial的定义也一直在争议之中，CC在民间搞了好多问卷调查，也没什么定论。原文是说“You may not exercise any of the rights granted to You in Section 3 above in any manner that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation.” 当然Fair Dealing Rights是不会被排除的。

不过Noncommercial license毕竟不是free license
一般来说在支持广告的网站上使用一张Noncommercial license的图片，可以被定义为commercial use，当然除非你自己就是Noncommercial license的licensor。

当然观点认为，只要没有直接进行Noncommercial license内容的销售行为，而只是把它投放在一个Ad-Supported的网站是没有什么问题的。

但如果你整个商业网站使用Noncommercial license的图片、框架、音乐之类做背景，恐怕是有问题的。

当然不一定是定论，手边也暂时没有相关判例佐证，一点意见仅供参考。

我一般把 noncommercial 理解成 personal / non-profit 的反义词。
所以我在你的情况下是不会使用的，尽量找 public domain 或者支持 commercially 使用的材料吧。
