JOB DUTIES 1. Performs detailed 1st review of interim and annual financial statements and quarterly Schedule of Investments
•Review accuracy and reasonability of financial statements disclosures
•Verify crosschecks and calculations
•Provide financial statements preparation guidance to Specialists by providing and walking through review comments
•Follow all procedures regarding financial statements review and sign off on all required checklists. Recommend and implement enhancements to procedures based on experience and changes to regulatory requirements, funds and clients.
2. Prepares more complex interim and annual shareholder reports and quarterly Schedule of Investments
•Perform planning procedures in order to identify any issues prior to the reporting cycle commencing, discuss with Manager and work with applicable parties to resolve.
•Coordinate the receipt of reports, extracts and other information from Fund Accounting, Reporting and Compliance, Treasury, Client, etc.
•Perform a detailed review of the general ledger balances, identifying issues and initiating the resolution of those issues with applicable parties
•Ensure the accuracy and reasonability of amounts disclosed in the financial statements.
•Calculate certain financial statements disclosures based on Regulatory requirements, as applicable.
•Follow all procedures regarding financial statements preparation and sign off on all required checklists. Recommend and implement enhancements to procedures based on knowledge and experience obtained during preparation process.
•Ensure adherence to the production calendar, or promptly communicate changes thereto to all concerned parties.
3. Communicate and coordinate the distribution of all drafts of the financial statements to all external and internal parties.
4. Assist Specialists in the resolution of issues.
5. Train Specialists and new employees on financial statements preparation, group procedures, Regulatory and GAAP requirements, Financial Reporting Platforms and all applicable system applications.
6. Supervise Specialists to ensure that pre-work is prepared in a timely manner and reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
7. Work with clients and auditors to coordinate and analyze all financial statements comments.

The ISS Support team is responsible for an application that records Investor information and transactions, and also automates fee calculations for NAV Accounting. The role will involve dealing with daily queries from all departments in IFS, and either providing resolution, or escalating the issues to the Development Team. The candidate will also work with the Business and Technology teams to help define the requirements for new projects and verify that the delivered functionality meets those requirements.
Job Description:
The candidate will act as the Level 1 Production Support person for ISS applications.
The candidate will work with the Business and Technology teams to research user issue.
•Assist in the daily production support issues and requests received from the user community.
•Participate as appropriate in the development, testing and implementation of the development request from business.
•Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action, keeping team and manager informed of issue.
•Take responsibility for the quality of service to Users.
•Act as focal point for contacts within other departments
•Ensure contingency plans exist for the work of the team and where necessary contribute to the business continuity plans and tests
•Provide coaching, guidance and support to staff on technical, professional and client issues
•Establish and maintain good working relationships with users, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalised reporting and ad hoc liaison.

•General technical proficiency and an ability to learn
