external ear：外耳；指耳朵位于头部外侧、从外面能看到并接触到的部分，主要包括耳廓（pinna/auricle）和外耳道（ear canal），作用是收集并引导声波进入更深部位的听觉结构。（也常与“middle ear / inner ear”对比使用。）
